MorePlasticolors Inc. recently appointed Andrew Bartlett as a chemical engineer within the Coatings Technical Group. In his new position, Bartlett will provide direct support to the development and expansion of the existing platform of commercial products for the coatings marketplace.
“We are pleased to have Andrew join our coating’s business,” said David Hyde, manager of Product Development. “His strong educational background, his enthusiasm to learn and his previous internships will make for a quick study, as he grows professionally within our technical team.”
Bartlett joined the company directly from Case Western Reserve University, where he will graduate with a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering in 2011. “I look forward to the opportunity to translate my existing knowledge of chemistry and engineering to a process application for the development of pigment and related dispersion sciences,” Bartlett said. “I am fortunate to be part of Plasticolors and specifically the coatings business.”
