CHARLES ROSS AND SON CO.: Half-Point Double Planetary Mixer

Charles Ross and Son Co. has announced the introduction of a new model of Double Planetary Mixer that features a ½-pint working capacity unit ideally suited for the benchtop research and development of highly viscous materials up to 6 million cps. The DPM ½ pint mixer is supplied complete with a vacuum, a sight/charge port, a light, a jacketed mix vessel and a thermocouple to sense batch temperature. A complete control panel is also provided, including a frequency inverter to control blade speeds, a batch-cycle timer, and temperature indication. All parts that come into contact with the product being mixed are constructed of type 316 stainless steel and are polished to enable easy cleaning between batches.
