ADCO Products Inc.

ADCO Products Inc., Michigan Center, Mich., a designer and manufacturer of adhesive and sealant solutions, has announced the addition of GMB International, St. Hubert, Canada, as a distributor and warehouse facility for its window-assembly-systems sealants and adhesive products. GMB International is headed by Gaston Bellanger, formerly North American sales manager for Rohm and Haas Co., who will serve as the ADCO Products sales representative for the greater Canada region.

Bostik Findley

Bostik Findley, Middleton, Mass., and James Hardie Building Products have launched a cooperative marketing program promoting Bostik Chem-Calk FCB urethane sealant and Chem-Calk urethane sealant for the James Hardie ColorPlus Siding Collection as the recommended sealants of choice for use with the James Hardie fiber-cement siding products. The joint-marketing initiative provides a five-year material warranty from Bostik Findley, and offers dealers and building-materials distributors new self-standing and countertop display merchandisers.

Dunleary, Inc.

Dunleary, Inc., Baltimore, has been awarded representation responsibilities for Degussa's colorants and preservatives technology for North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama. Dunleary currently represents Degussa's colorants division in Maryland, Delaware and Virginia. Degussa manufactures color dispersions and preservatives for the adhesives, coatings, graphic arts, building products and plastics markets.

Hauthaway Corp.

Hauthaway Corp., Lynn, Mass., has appointed Pacific Coast Chemicals Co., Berkeley, Calif., to represent its lines of Hauthane waterborne polyurethane dispersions and urethane acrylic hybrids to the industrial and architectural coatings markets in the Western United States. This sales and marketing collaboration will allow Hauthaway to expand its market reach to adhesives and coatings formulators in Arizona, California, Nevada, Oregon, Utah and Washington.

Rohm and Haas, Inc.

Rohm and Haas, Inc., Philadelphia, has appointed H.M. Royal, Inc., as national distributor for Thixon rubber-to-metal adhesives. This expansion of sales coverage was prompted by new technical developments such as waterborne adhesives and new additions to the existing, environmentally friendly product series.

Sartomer Co.

Sartomer Co., Exton, Pa., has formed a new Specialty Polymers group as a result of the recent reorganization of the TotalFinaElf chemical businesses. The new group will market Poly bd hydroxyl-terminated polybutadiene resins, SMA styrene-maleic anhydride copolymer resins, and Ricon polybutadiene resins.
