Cray Valley Names New Business Director for Rubber Market

Cray Valley, Exton, PA, has named Alain Drexler business director for its rubber market products and services. In his new role, Drexler will be responsible for day-to-day operations, including product and market management, interactions with key accounts, pricing, and commercial development on a global level. He brings to the position extensive experience in adhesives and sealants, electronic potting compounds, construction, automotive, and military and aerospace application areas.

Since 2001, Drexler has served as marketing manager for Poly bd® and Krasol® resins for Cray Valley’s sister company, Sartomer Company Inc. He previously spent three years as technical marketing manager, specialty polyolefins, for Atofina Chemicals, and manager of environmental technologies and remedial procurement for Elf Atochem.

Drexler earned his master’s degree in chemical engineering from the Institute of Industrial Chemistry and Physics, Lyon, France, and his master’s degree in biochemistry and genetics from the University Louis Pasteur, Strasbourg, France.
