Daiken American Joins CCM

Daikin America Inc. has announced its new membership with the University of Delaware Center for Composite Materials, a pioneer in university-industry partnerships that has established a premier technology transfer network to transition research accomplishments to industry. Daikin joined UD-CCM to investigate the commercial applications of PTFE web. "Through CCM, we gain additional industry contacts and access to projects," says Todd Brown, Daikin's senior market development specialist. "We are impressed with the resources University of Delaware has, which is an essential part of doing business with the composites industry." CCM also brings testing capabilities to the product to allow Daikin to better understand how to manufacture and support this important production of the future and to support the development of new products to meet the needs of the composites industry.
