Home Channel News presented DAP Products President and CEO John McLaughlin with the honor on May 4 at the 26th Golden Hammer Retailer Awards in Las Vegas during the 2010 National Hardware Show.
Based on peer recognition, buyers and merchandise managers of America’s top 500 retailers voted DAP as one of 32 suppliers that demonstrate best of field excellence, specifically in the Lumber Building Materials and Durables category.
"DAP is extremely honored the industry we serve has recognized DAP for a fifth consecutive year," said David Fuller, vice president of Marketing. "We continually look for opportunities to develop and market superior products supported with leading business practices to meet the needs of our customers and exceed industry standards."
The criteria for selection included category management, inventory management, new product innovation, quality control and serving professionals.
