Degussa has announced the appointment of John Rolando to the position of president and CEO of Rohm America LLC, part of Degussa's Specialty Polymers Division. Rolando succeeds Rodger Cram, who has left the company to pursue other opportunities. Since joining Degussa in 1987, Rolando has held a number of senior marketing and management positions for Degussa Corp. in the NAFTA region and for Degussa AG in Europe. He is currently involved in strategic projects for the Specialty Polymers Division in NAFTA, and will continue to undertake this activity.
