Dow Corning Construction Industry Appoints Green Building Leader

Dow Corning Corp. has named Saulo Rozendo the new Global Green Building marketer for the Dow Corning Construction Industry. He will be responsible for identifying and partnering with global building leaders to implement green building solutions from the company to achieve innovative building designs and increased energy efficiencies.

“As building standards require construction professionals to seek more sustainable design solutions, Saulo’s expertise in green building will be key in providing our customers with the expertise and insights about how Dow Corning’s customized solutions can best meet their challenges,” said Jean Paul Hautekeer, global Marketing manager, Construction Industry, Dow Corning.

Rozendo’s experience in green building consists of leading over 50 green building projects within South America and Southeast Asia, including the first LEED Platinum project in Brazil; training building professionals to become LEED Accredited Professionals; and ISO 14000 environmental management expertise.

“It’s an exciting time for the construction industry, and I look forward to integrating our innovative products, services, and global expertise to best equip industry professionals with the right set of building solutions,” said Rozendo.
