This company has developed Grade GC graphite cement, a special high-strength bonding cement to join all forms of rigid, flexible, and machined carbon and graphite shapes. The product cures to a 100-percent carbonaceous bond with high electrical and thermal conductivity. It remains secure to 3,000ºC in a non-oxidizing atmosphere. It can be used to repair cracked, chipped or broken graphite trays, boats, heating elements, susceptors, dies and electrodes. It is also an excellent bond for graphite cloth, felt, yarn, fibers and large monolithic shapes.
