In addition, the first two sentences after the heading “UV/EB Adhesives” (“In general, UV laminating adhesives are based on the free radical curing of acrylate monomers and oligomers with a photoinitiator. Cationic photoinitiators and epoxy resins may also be used.”) should have been credited to an article by Steve Lapin, “Shine the Light – UV/EB Laminating Adhesives Offer Many Advantages in Packaging Applications,” that appeared on p. 40 of the December 2003 issue of Converting magazine. ASI and the author regret the errors.
