This benchtop unit operates on compressed air and electricity, and uses controlled air pressure to apply RTVs and other thick assembly fluids much faster, easier and more uniformly than caulking guns, squeeze tubes and hand syringes. Using air power instead of hand power to dispense thick materials also eliminates awkward squeezing motions that can lead to carpal tunnel and other repetitive stress injuries. Silicone is loaded into a disposable syringe reservoir that is held like a pen, and the dispenser's 0 to 100 psi pressure and 0.005-31 second timer settings are adjusted to produce the desired flow rate and deposit size.
