Epoxies, Etc. has announced the development of its new 20-2352 Polyurethane Conformal Coating. 20-2352 is an electronic grade, solvent free polyurethane coating. 20-2352 has great appeal to electronic manufacturers due to its quick self-leveling, good thermal cycling properties, low temperature performance, and outstanding moisture resistance. Due to its low glass transition temperature (-70 degrees) and flexibility, there is virtually no stress placed on components during or after cure. Since 20-2352 does not contain solvents, it is often used in applications requiring high build coatings in one pour. It may also be used as a potting compound.
