Exergen Corp.: Non-Contact Temperature Sensors

Exergen Corp. introduces methods to increase printing speeds with the self powered IRt/c and powered Smart IRt/c temperature sensors. With the proven speed boost equations, throughput can be increased by as much as 50 percent in such printing applications as web-drying, roller-cooling, curing, binding, copying, and laminating. With its easy-to-use, plug and play design - and variety of outputs that are standards in the printing industry (0-5V, 0-10V, 4-20mA, RS232, RS485) - printing machine builders, OEM's, and printers can take advantage of the lowest price/performance IR temperature sensor on the market. The rugged, compact design and side view mount allow for ease of installation, long-lasting durability, and accurate measurements. The Smart Ambient Compensation Correction allows for stable accuracy within 1 percent with changes in the ambient conditions. These features allow for a smaller sized model IRt/c with no power required, faster response time, lower cost, higher accuracy, and a true thermocouple output at temperatures close to the calibration point.
