ExxonMobil Chemical France To Expand Hydrogenated Tackifier Plant Capacity

ExxonMobil Chemical France has announced plans to expand by 50 percent the capacity of its Escorez™ 5000 hydrogenated tackifier plant in Notre-Dame-de-Gravenchon. Mechanical completion of the additional Escorez 5000 line is expected in the first quarter of 2007. "This multi-million dollar investment in Escorez 5000 tackifiers will help us serve global demand for adhesives and demonstrates ExxonMobil Chemical's long-term commitment to customers in the fast-growing hot-melt adhesive market," said Darren Woods, Adhesion Industry Global Business Unit vice president, ExxonMobil Chemical Co. "At the same time, it further strengthens our position as the premier global supplier to this market. ExxonMobil Chemical provides its customers with consistently high-quality Escorez tackifiers from manufacturing facilities in the United States, France and Japan."
