Santicizer® Platinum P-1000 is this company’s first commercial product in a series of high-performance, non-phthalate plasticizers. The material reportedly exhibits excellent plasticizing efficiency, fast fusion properties, and low volatility compared to many widely used plasticizers.

Applications include adhesives and sealants, calendering, extrusion, and plastisol products. As Platinum P-1000 offers excellent compatibility in many polymer systems, including PVC, urethanes, latex acrylics, polysulphides and silicone hybrid systems, the material can provide a versatile non-phthalate plasticizer for the manufacture of a range of products.

“Ferro’s new Platinum P-1000 technology offers a great new alternative to those looking for a high-performance, non-phthalate plasticizer,” said David Ankrett, Global Business director, Flexible Polymers.
