Low-surface-energy materials are increasingly being used in durable product manufacturing due to the cost-effectiveness of the materials. For bonding to these difficult-to-adhere-to surfaces, FLEXcon is promoting its extensive line of adhesives that can match any low-surface-energy bonding need. FLEXcon's line includes V-478 and V-778, permanent pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive transfer tapes, ideal for powder-coated painted surfaces, and V-483, a permanent pressure-sensitive acrylic adhesive that fills the gap between regular solvent acrylic and silicone adhesives.

V-478 and V-778 are highly aggressive adhesives available in thicknesses of 1 to 4 mil that can be custom-produced to fit application specifications. The adhesives are ideal for use in harsh environments, including areas with varying temperatures such as electrical boxes, automotive components and aerospace components. Users may also choose between V-478 single- or double-coated products to suit their needs.
