The Forest Products Society has issued a request for formal presentations and posters for its 66th International Convention, which will be held June 3-5, 2012, in Washington, D.C. The convention gathers professionals in the forest products field, including scientists; design professionals; managers; decision makers; and others from academia, government, non-profit, and private industry sectors. The 2012 theme is Forest Products: Solutions for a Global Green Economy. The deadline for papers is December 19.

A Poster Session consists of a number of simultaneous presentations by individuals who are assigned a “booth” space in a large meeting room. Attendees browse the presentations and speak directly with the presenters in an informal setting. The deadline for the call for posters is January 13, 2012.
