Harvin Appoints Lange Production Manager

Harvin Reaction Technology has announced the appointment of Scott F. Lange to the position of production manager. Lange, who has nearly 30 years of industrial experience in urethanes, polyols and fire retardants, will continue his duties as technical manager for the company, which he joined in 1991, according to Dick Baum, vice president of operations and general manager of Harvin. "We are pleased," Baum said, "to give Scott these vital additional duties, as we continue to offer our customers custom synthesis including propoxylation, esterification, toll and custom blending. Mr. Lange will be instrumental in the introduction of several new product lines including MDI prepolymers, aliphatic isocyanate prepolymers, and a variety of polyurethane systems." Lange holds two degrees: a B.S. in Physics from Harvey Mudd College in Claremont, CA, and an M.S. in Physical Chemistry from Rutgers University.
