For materials with a melting point of less than 800 degrees F, Hot Air Specialties, Charlotte, NC, offers the new LAZOR BLADE maintenance tool. This tool combines both heat and air to produce a calculated jet with a constant temperature range of approximately 1000 degrees F, allowing materials to be removed with great ease. Applications include: cleaning nozzles; freeing valves and fittings; cleaning gears and chain drives; removing build-ups of grease, adhesives, sugars or waxes; and many more. The LAZOR BLADE can also eliminate the use of many hazardous chemicals, and comes in models that operate on in-plant air or self-contained compressors.
