The SV1000SS stainless steel spray valve from I&J Fisnar Inc. provides a finely controlled spray for low- to medium-viscosity fluids and coatings. Transfer efficiency is maintained by a dual air-control system provided by the SVC100 spray valve controller. A piston-activated needle opens the material inlet under low pressure; a secondary pressure source forces air around the nozzle to produce a controlled spray. At the end of the operation, the needle closes, but the secondary air remains on momentarily to clean the outlet nozzle of any material residue and provide a positive cut-off.
