The 50ml twin-pack cartridge is the most commonly used dual-component package for small bench production mixing and dispensing of epoxies, adhesives, and sealants. The problem in using this package is the ability to dispense precise deposits of mixed material repeatedly without mess and without concern for change in viscosity during the working life. The I&J 123-D50 solves this problem by mechanically displacing each side of the cartridge via a pair of stepping motor-driven rams, which can dispense mixed material in the micro liter range. The high accuracy and repeatability of the stepping motor ensures that the material is delivered via the static mixing nozzle without concern for the viscosity changes that may occur through mixing and temperature fluctuation.
