CHARLES ROSS & SON CO. SHIPS 36TH 500 CU. FT. RIBBON BLENDER

Charles Ross & Son Co. has announced the completion of its 36th 500 cu. ft. Ribbon Blender for delivery to a major chemical company. The Blenders are produced in one of Ross' several manufacturing facilities. Units are constructed in stainless steel, and each is designed for operation under vacuum and internal pressure. All include jackets for heating and cooling, as well as special domed covers and a flush-type, pneumatically operated discharge valve. The drive systems include a 150 horsepower motor directly coupled to a heavy-duty reducer for operation at 22 rpm. Ross manufactures Ribbon Blenders in a range of sizes from ½ to over 500 cu. ft. working capacity.
