ENGINEERED PRODUCTS AND SERVICES TO OPEN NEW SOUTH CAROLINA PLANT

Engineered Products and Services LLC, Menomonee Falls, WI, has announced plans to open a plant in Timmonsville, SC, creating up to 50 jobs. The company is investing up to $2 million to move operations into a closed drapery plant near Interstates 95 and 20 that has been vacant since 2004. Engineered Products and Services LLC makes masking and custom rubber products and hanging systems, and has plants in Wisconsin, California, and the U.K.

INTRAPAC GROUP ACQUIRES LEADING CONTAINER COMPANY

The IntraPac Group, Richmond Hills, Ontario, has announced its acquisition of Corona Packaging, Inc., one of North America's leading suppliers of small plastic bottles for the hospitality amenities industry. Corona is located in Toronto, Canada, and operates from a state-of-the-art manufacturing facility. "This acquisition aligns well with our strategy of building leadership positions in niche markets and continuing to enhance our product offering and diversity," said Gary Ullman, president and CEO of IntraPac. Focusing on laminate, plastic laminate, aluminum and tin tubes, coated metered dose inhaler cans, plastic jars, bottles, and closures, IntraPac employs approximately 1,000 people and operates six production facilities in Canada, the United States, and Costa Rica.
