The Adhesive and Sealant Council, Inc.’s, (ASC) Fall Convention is scheduled to take place October 11-13 at the Griffin Gate Marriott Resort in Lexington, KY.

The two-day convention is organized under the theme “Maintaining a Thoroughbred Spirit: Strength and Endurance for Challenging Times.” Jim Owens, senior vice president-North America, H.B. Fuller, and ASC Board Chair, says, “Like a champion thoroughbred, our industry has a resilient spirit and the strength and endurance to survive any challenge, including the current economic downturn. A journey to Kentucky this fall can help you and your business manage this downturn and prepare for the recovery.”

The event will feature a number of educational sessions and networking opportunities, as well as a Waterborne Short Course. Co-located at the convention site, the technical short course will take place October 11-12 and will cover all areas of waterborne adhesives.

“The educational program offered at ASC conventions continues to evolve and improve to meet our attendees’ needs,” says ASC President Lawrence D. Sloan. “The dynamic educational sessions are designed to connect attendees with leading industry authorities and with each other, while providing practical tools to use when they return to their businesses.”

In addition, the ASC EXPO, scheduled for October 12, will feature leading raw material and equipment suppliers and industry consultants. See sidebar for a current exhibitor list.
