For customers wishing to avoid the time-consuming hassle of label removal, MACtac® Printing Products has developed a new labelstock that completely dissolves in water - face, adhesive and all.

The dissolvable label serves a number of application purposes, particularly in the areas of food service and health care where label use is often mandatory but removal may be difficult or forgotten. Labeled containers can be put directly into dishwashers or boiling water without the possibility of the labels clogging drains or contaminating food.

The product’s part number is WDP3201and it features a dissolvable, uncoated 40# facestock, MACtac’s new MP332 acrylic emulsion adhesive, and a 2.5-mil (40#) super-calendared kraft liner.
