DOW AUTOMOTIVE INTRODUCES NEW TWO-COMPONENT STRUCTURAL ACRYLIC ADHESIVE

BETAMATE™ LESA is a two-component, high-strength, toughened acrylic adhesive designed for structural applications. This system was developed primarily for use in bonding low-energy surfaces without surface pretreatment, including polypropylene (PP) and polyethylene (PD, HDPE). The mix ratio for this system is 1:1 by volume. BETAMATE LESA can be used for bonding similar or dissimilar thermoplastic or thermoset resins, coated metallic substrates and glass.

I&J FISNAR INTRODUCES NEW DISPENSING VALVE

The VMP30H is a multipurpose, mini-poppet pneumatic valve designed for controlled dispensing of low- to high-viscosity materials, such as silicones, RTV, epoxy, rubber adhesives, greases and filled materials. The poppet design minimizes surface area and friction between the valve piston and the material, making it ideal for filled materials and extending the life of the valve. A diaphragm located between the driving parts and the wetted parts also increases the valve life and reduces valve maintenance. Shot sizes may be fine-tuned by turning the control knob at the top of the valve. The VMP30H valve features a "suck-back effect," which draws material back into the fluid body at the end of the dispensing cycle. This eliminates lumping at the end of the needle after dispensing. The valve can be controlled with a standard I&J Fisnar Inc. dispenser or with the VC-1195A 4-way valve controller, which closes the valve more quickly.

OK INTERNATIONAL OFFERS NEW LOW-COST TAPER NEEDLES

Double Helix TT-Series Dispensing Needles are designed with double helix threads to provide secure connection to industrial syringes and dispense valves. The needles are engineered for precise, consistent dispensing of medium- to high-viscosity materials. Thanks to a unique 27-gauge (0.20mm ID) version, micro-dot dispensing is also possible. Manufactured from polyethylene, the Double Helix TT-Series Dispensing Needles are compatible with a range for chemicals and UV-cure adhesives. The needles are now silicon- and chloride-free to eliminate the possibility of contamination from these materials, particularly in sensitive areas such as medical-related industries where contamination would present a significant risk.
