Papers Needed for ASTM Eighth Symposium

WEST CONSHOHOCKEN, Pa. — Papers are invited for the Charles J. Parise Eighth Symposium on Science and Technology of Building Seals, Sealants, Glazing and Waterproofing, sponsored by ASTM Committee C24 on Building Seals and Sealants. The symposium will be held February 6-7, 2002, in Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., in conjunction with the standards-development meetings of Committee C24.

This symposium will focus on the latest research and industry trends in building seals and sealants. Laboratory studies and field investigations are influential to the continued improvement and development of related standards.

Papers are invited on any topic related to building seals, glazing and waterproofing, including materials, design and application techniques, and performance. Prospective authors are requested to submit a 250- to 300-word preliminary abstract by May 18, 2001. Contact Symposium Chairman James F. Walker, TREMCO, at 216-378-6325.
