PERMABOND: Structural Acrylic Adhesive Range

Permabond Engineering Adhesives has announced the launch of its new range of high-performance structural acrylic adhesives. The new products have been especially developed for use in demanding, high-stress applications where toughness and durability are important. The new adhesives are ideal for bonding plastics, metals, composites, ceramics, wood and glass. They have excellent resistance to impact, shear and peel loads. Adhesives are available as separate adhesive with brush-on initiator. No mixing is required. A no-mix bead-on-bead acrylic adhesive, which eliminates the need for mixing nozzles, is also available. The adhesives cure to handling strength within minutes and achieve working strength within 30 minutes, offering the user benefits in terms of reduced clamping times and increased production rates. Permabond's chemists have developed the new structural acrylics with health and safety in mind. Products are non-flammable and non-hazardous for transportation, unlike the majority of structural acrylic adhesives on the market.
