PERMABOND: Threadlocking Adhesive

Permabond has introduced a new high temperature-resistant threadlocker called Permabond HH131. HH131 resists temperature ranges up to 230 degrees C; standard products typically resist temperatures of 150-175 degrees C. This product also has excellent chemical resistance and provides a permanent seal that protects against loosening due to vibration. HH131 has a viscosity of 10,000cPs and is suited for use on fasteners as large as 1-1/2" in diameter. Anaerobic adhesives and sealants are single-component liquids that cure only when in contact with tight-fitting metal parts and when oxygen is excluded. Anaerobic adhesives work by filling the gap between mated parts and curing to a plastic, thus preventing corrosion between the mated parts and preventing loosening caused by vibration and thermal expansion. A full range of threadlockers is available in various strengths and viscosities.
