Plasticolors Inc. Appoints Technical Service Representative (9/16/09)

Plasticolors Inc. recently appointed Kip Howard to the position of technical service representative, Thermosets.

Plasticolors Inc., a custom colorant and chemical dispersions manufacturer for the thermoset plastics and paint and coatings industries, recently appointed Kip Howard to the position of technical service representative, Thermosets. In his new position, Howard is responsible for providing direct technical support to Plasticolors’ thermoset customer base, maximizing resources to meet their needs through color design and chemical dispersion formulating, and working with customers to develop new product solutions.

Howard joined Plasticolors in 1999 in the Research and Development department where he worked primarily on expanding the company’s product offerings to the thermoset plastics industry. He was instrumental in the development of the AccumagTM thickener technology and product line. Howard holds a bachelor’s degree in premedical biology and a minor in chemistry from Bowling Green State University, as well as a master’s degree in macromolecular science engineering from Case Western Reserve.
