Air Products Polymers Announces Price Increases

January 19, 2004
Air Products Polymers, L.P. has announced that, effective Feb. 2, it will implement a $0.02 per wet pound price increase for vinyl acetate homopolymer and copolymer emulsions, and all ethylene, vinyl chloride-based emulsions. These products are marketed by the company under the Airflex, Flexbond, and Vinac trademarks. This price adjustment, to be applied in North American markets only, is being driven by increased costs in raw materials used in the manufacture of these products. Air Products Polymers' Airflex, Flexbond, and Vinac emulsion products are used in applications including adhesives, building products, nonwovens, paper, carpet and textiles.
