HED INTERNATIONAL: Coating/Casting System

HED International has announced the availability of its new LabCast^® laboratory tabletop coating/casting system for industry research and engineering developers of thick films. These systems are routinely used in green energy applications such as fuel cells, photovoltaics, LiON batteries and ultra-capacitors.

The affordable LabCast^® is ideal for fabricating highly uniform sheets of flexible film as thin as .0005”. Films are readily web cast from a variety of polymer, elastomer, ceramic, metal and composite liquid suspensions. Applications incorporating nanomaterials have led to the development of new products with remarkable properties.

LabCast^® series coaters/casters are available for producing films on plastic, paper, metallic foil and other substrates.
