HPVA to Canvass Proposed Revisions to Flooring Standard

RESTON, Va. - The Hardwood Plywood and Veneer Association (HPVA), began a 90-day canvass ballot of proposed revisions to the ANSI/HPVA LF 1996 American National Standard for Laminated Wood Flooring on Sept. 30, 2001.

HPVA has developed a draft of proposed revisions to the standard. HPVA has also compiled a list of interested parties to participate in the ballot for approval of the proposed revisions. This proposed canvass list has been submitted to ANSI, which will publish a notice of the HPVA intent to conduct the canvass to solicit other potential canvass participants or additional proposed revisions to be considered.
