PERMATEX EUROPE: Threadlocker (9/2/09)

This company’s new Permatex Gel Twist^TM Threadlocker uses a special gel formulation and a pinpoint applicator to eliminate messy liquids while reducing waste and clean up. With Gel Twist, operators and technicians can put the threadlocker exactly where they want, especially in vertical applications and hard-to-reach places. Gel Twist will flow into threads more easily than solid stick formulations, but will not spill like liquid threadlockers.

Gel Twist Threadlockers are simple to use: just remove the cap, turn the dial to expose from 3-6 mm of material, apply to fastener, and close cap. Gel Twist makes threadlocking quick and easy, providing total control over how much threadlocker is applied and where it is applied.

Permatex Gel Twist Threadlockers come in two popular grades: medium-strength Threadlocker Blue Gel (10 g – Part No. 24010) and high-strength Threadlocker Red Gel (10 g – Part No. 27010). Blue Gel is used where hand tool disassembly is required. The higher-strength Red Gel requires special tools or heat to enable disassembly.
