Frank De Castro has joined Solvay Chemicals Inc., Houston, TX,
as Logistics Purchasing manager. As a member of the NAFTA Multi-Site
Purchasing/Corporate Purchasing Network, De Castro will be responsible for
negotiating supply contracts for logistics transportation, warehouses,
terminals and fleet on behalf of the Solvay NAFTA operating companies.
De Castro holds a B.S. in industrial engineering from the Georgia
Institute of Technology, and has over twenty years experience in the chemicals
industry with an emphasis in the management of global transportation and
logistics purchasing.
