The Trombomat permits control and documentation of the passing of liquid to a solid state, providing direct measurement for thermoset resins, epoxies, polyesters, adhesives, varnishes and other products. The unit measures the force necessary to move a solid body in a sample of the material through its transition from liquid to solid, while recording the material’s temperature. The evolution from liquid to solid can be continuously recorded on a PC via a data-acquisition board. Applications include factory quality control, R&D for formulation adjustment, process planning, and process or manufacturing control.
