Royal Adhesives Acquires Hardman Adhesives and Elastomers

Royal Adhesives and Sealants LLC has announced the completion of its acquisition of the Hardman Adhesives and Elastomers business located in Belleville, NJ, from Elementis plc. Royal is a privately held manufacturer and marketer of specialty adhesives and sealants for use primarily in industrial and commercial construction applications throughout the United States. Hardman, which had previously been managed as part of the Elementis Specialties business, is a manufacturer and marketer of epoxy and urethane structural adhesives, electrical potting and encapsulation compounds, and specialty elastomers. Hardman sells into the worldwide adhesives and sealants industry. The Hardman business will continue to be located in Belleville and its employees will remain with Royal. With the addition of Hardman, Royal's annual sales will exceed $75 million.
