Scapa North America has introduced Scapa 706, a clear polyimide film, double-coated with a silicone pressure-sensitive adhesive for general industrial bonding, sealing and splicing applications. The product is specifically designed to bond silicone substrates and other difficult-to-bond materials. Scapa 706 delivers excellent silicone-coated substrates, including paper and film. The high tack silicone adhesive is ideal for bonding silicone foams and gaskets. Scapa 706 can serve as a splicing tape to join silicone-coated papers or films, and is also ideal for high- or low-temperature gasket sealing. This highly conformable product can also be used for precision die cutting, forming to intricate parts and general-purpose bonding.
