SHIMADZU: Polymer Additives White Paper (9/16/09)

Shimadzu Scientific Instruments Inc. (SSI) now offers a new white paper titled “Advantages of LCMS-IT-TOF Mass Spectrometry in Identifying Polymer Additives.” The paper is available for free download here.

Identifying polymer additives is a critical step for product formulation. Shimadzu’s white paper provides an overview of the use and advantages of LCMS-IT-TOF mass spectrometry to identify these unknown additives. It explains applications for the technology and reviews polymer additives and their functions. In addition, the paper shows sample methodologies and results.

“During product development, additives must be examined for performance, health, safety and cost of manufacture. This white paper is intended to help companies and researchers find the most effective way to identify additives with the latest mass spectrometry techniques,” said Kevin McLaughlin, SSI’s senior marketing communications coordinator.
