One of the most critical issues associated with the transition to Pb-Free manufacturing is related to material logistics across the supply chain. "Material Control for Lead-free Manufacturing," an online presentation by Francois Monette, V.P. Market Development and co-founder of Cogiscan, Inc., will provide an overview of new industry standards for Pb-free material identification. The presentation will include a review of the key issues associated with forward and backward compatibility of Pb-Free components. The presentation will also provide actual case studies of companies that have implemented Pb-Free assembly processes and the related material issues that they experienced. The cost for this on-line presentation is $75USD/$135USD for SMTA members/non-members, and the price of an individual membership is included in a non-member registration.
