MoreSpeedline Technologies Inc. introduced its Electrovert OmniExcel 7 Reflow Oven at the Productronica 2003 show in Munich, Germany. The seven-zone, forced convection reflow oven sets new operating efficiency benchmarks by consuming up to 50 percent less power and up to 35 percent less N2 than conventional designs. This new seven-zone oven compliments the recently introduced OmniExcel 10 zone oven to deliver a complete series of reflow ovens for all production and processing needs. The new reflow oven incorporates a patent pending self-cleaning Flux Extraction System (FES) that reduces maintenance requirements from a typical weekly schedule to once per month. The FES consists of three multi-stage collection units strategically positioned within the system's heating sections to continuously scrub process gas for unwanted particulates.
