SPI ANNOUNCES SEPTEMBER DATES FOR PLASTICS USA 2004

Plastics USA 2004, North America's Plastics Marketplace, will take place from Tuesday through Thursday, Sept. 28-30, 2004, on Level 3 of the East Building (also known as the Lakeside Center) of McCormick Place in Chicago. Sponsor of the triennial Plastics USA shows is The Society of the Plastics Industry, Inc. (SPI), which also sponsors NPE, The World's Plastics Showcase. At Plastics USA 2004, more than 400 exhibiting companies will occupy 80,000 sq. ft. of net exhibit space. More than 15,000 visitors are expected, primarily from the U.S., Canada and Mexico, but also from Central and South America. Scheduled midway between NPE 2003 and NPE 2006, Plastics USA 2004 will provide the largest U.S. showplace for new plastics processing technologies between these international expositions. More equipment will be in operation on the show floor than at any other North American plastics show in 2004. Situated at the hub of North America's $375-billion/year plastics marketplace, Plastics USA 2004 will provide visitors to the show with access to technologies, business opportunities, and decision-makers from throughout the Americas.
