TAPPI, Norcross, GA, has received accreditation as a developer of American national standards through the Executive Standards Council of the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

Accreditation by ANSI means that the procedures used by a standards body in connection with the development of American National Standards meet the Institute’s essential requirements.

ANSI is the U.S. representative in the international standards organization known as ISO. TAPPI is a technical association that serves the pulp, paper, packaging and converting industries.
