TOYO-MORTON CELEBRATES 30TH ANNIVERSARY

Toyo-Morton Ltd., headquartered near Tokyo, Japan, was the site in June for a special gathering of company personnel, joint venture partners, and distributors for the company. Senior managers of Toyo-Morton - and joint venture partners Toyo Ink Manufacturing and Rohm and Haas Co. - planned the event to celebrate their landmark 30th anniversary as a leading supplier of advanced adhesives technologies for packaging lamination and industrial applications. Ceremonies included the dedication of Toyo-Morton's new research and administration facility. This site will bring together polymer specialists as well as formulations and development staff who are working to introduce new adhesive technologies, including state-of-the-art retort adhesives, environmentally friendly water-based adhesives, solventless product lines, and VOC-compliant adhesives that meet wide-ranging laminating requirements for food, beverage, and consumer package goods.
