Venture Tape Corp. has announced the availability of its new 3243 high-temperature foil tape for flue and plenum applications. Venture Tape 3243 is a 2-mil, dead soft aluminum foil tape with a high-performance acrylic adhesive specifically designed for extreme temperature environments. Rated to 450 degrees F, 3243 provides installers and contractors with a safe, reliable option for use in high-temperature conditions, such as flue pipes, plenums, vents, and stove pipes, as well as other demanding applications. In addition to high-shear adhesion and heat resistance, this acrylic adhesive system contains tested and approved mold-inhibiting agents. It also conforms readily to irregular surfaces. Standard roll size is 3" x 50 yards, packed 16 per case.
