Venture Tape has introduced a novel inventory management and shipping program designed to help customers reduce their inventory levels. The new stock program offers a broad mix of double-coated and transfer-film products, and will trim order lead-time in the lamination, foam, foam gasket, and die-cutting industries from 2-6 weeks to 48 hours. "We ship commodity products within 24-48 hours," said Lew Cohen, president of Venture Tape. "This new program enables us to guarantee 48-hour delivery of non-commodity products for specific industries, and enhances our responsiveness and customer service." The new stock products program, which enables customers to take advantage of manufacturing spikes without worrying about inventory levels, is possible because of Venture Tape's integrated manufacturing, warehouse and distribution system. The program also enables Venture Tape to accommodate additional product needs in these markets.
