Comments:

“How did we get to the point where the only answer is for the government to take over?”

“Regulation is necessary. Ownership is not.”

“The government has no right to get involved in private business. It goes against our free enterprise system.”

“If the company is being mismanaged, the government has the right to protect its citizens.”

“Results make a difference. It doesn't matter how things get done, as long as they get done. Too much is at stake.”

“Who wants to be an entrepreneur now that the government wants to control and be a part of everyone's business? The well-managed businesses will survive. A poorly managed business should be allowed to fail. Stimulus funds (from my paycheck) will only postpone the inevitable for the poorly managed companies. In addition, all this stimulus money will only be followed by hyper-inflation. Doesn't seem to be a wise thing to do in hard times.”

“Federal, state and local governments should be subcontracting much of their work to the corporate sector because of their inefficiencies, not the other way around.”
