Bodo Möller Chemie and CABB are entering into a partnership to expand European distribution of specialty dianhydrides. The CABB Group develops and manufactures high-performance dianhydrides, active ingredients, and superior intermediate goods. CABB specializes in manufacturing highly complex, client-specific molecules for leading companies, especially in the fields of crop science, life science and performance materials.

Dianhydrides such as BTDA (3,3',4,4'-Benzophenone tetracarboxylic dianhydride) are used as curing agents for epoxy resins or as comonomers for polyimides to produce polymers with exceptional thermo-mechanical and electrical insulation properties. “CABB is the only manufacturer worldwide which produces this molecule on an industrial scale. Bodo Möller Chemie is thus also the only sales channel for the molecule in Europe,” said Volker Oehl, director for Business Development, Bodo Möller Chemie.
