LOS ANGELES -- The UCLA Extension Department of Engineering, Information Systems and Technical Management offers two programs to help managers learn valuable business skills. The 62nd Technical Management Program helps managers in technical professions add value to their technical backgrounds by obtaining the specialized skills required to lead, manage and empower others. The program addresses the newest trends and paradigms in today's volatile business world and provides the engineering manager a repertoire of methods to solve problems, plan strategies and motivate colleagues.
Presented each March and September, this program allows participants to shape a curriculum of four courses from more than 20 different offerings. The next session is offered September 16-21 at UCLA's Covel Commons on the UCLA Campus in Westwood, Calif.
