GARDEN CITY, N.Y. — James Randall, chief executive officer of Environmental Processing Systems, Inc. (EPS), announced the formation of a new division, Precision Polymer Resources, Inc. As a wholly owned subsidiary of EPS, the new division will manage the marketing and sales activities as well as production allocation for the company’s network of plants.
EPS manufactures fine rubber powders from waste tires and other scrap rubbers. Sold under the trade name PolyDyne™, these fine powders are derived from whole tire rubber, styrene-butadiene, butyl, ethylene-propylene, neoprene, nitrile, natural rubber, and other elastomeric polymers and compounds. The powders are used in a variety of applications, including adhesives and sealants, chemical compounds, paint, tires, automotive parts, thermoplastic goods, industrial and construction products, and consumer goods.
